Model 69 and 69A

Designed by Winchester to answer the demand for a medium-priced hunting and target .22 rimfire bolt-action rifle. Had a detachable box magazine. Many offered with factory-installed telescopes in 2.75 and 5-power. Plain walnut pistol-grip stock and fore-end. This model was not serial numbered. Model 69A introduced in 1937. Featured an improved cocking mechanism. Model 69 Introduced in 1935; discontinued in 1963. About 355,000 sold. NOTE: Add 25 percent for Target Model; 35 percent for grooved receiver.
