Built on blow-back design for semi-automatic rifles. Chambered for .22 LR. Features 22" round barrel, detachable box magazine or under barrel tubular magazine. Has a triggerguard made of nylon, plain walnut pistol grip stock, with semi-beavertail forend and composition buttplate. Built between 1955 and 1963. Winchester sold about 217,000 of these rifles.
