Single-shot bolt-action .22-caliber rifle based on a John M. Browning design. Furnished with an 18" round barrel. Chambered for .22 Short and Long interchangeably. One-piece plain gumwood straight-grip stock, without a buttplate. Rifle was not serial numbered. Produced from 1899 to 1902. About 105,000 sold.
