Model 1904

A slightly more expensive version of Model 1902. Featured 21" round barrel, one-piece plain gumwood straight-grip stock (metal trigger guard added a pistol-grip feel), with a small lip on the fore-end. Chambered for .22 Short and Long until 1914, when .22 Extra Long was added. In 1927, .22 LR cartridge was added in place of Extra Long. This model was not serial numbered. Produced between 1904 and 1931. About 303,000 rifles were sold.
