Introduced in 1972. Chambered for .22 rimfire and .22 rimfire Magnum cartridges. Fitted with a 20.5" barrel, front ramp sight with hood and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. Tubular magazine holds 21 Shorts, 17 Longs and 15 LR cartridges. Magnum version holds 11 cartridges. Weight 6.25 lbs. Two-piece American walnut stock, with no checkering. Between 1972 and 1992, approximately 750,000 were produced.
