Based on military model made in 1918. Black finish and WWI roll marks. Offered in a Presentation Grade, with blue or nickel finish and Colt Custom Shop "A" engraving. Excellent or new condition could add a premium of 100 percent. Made in 2008 and 2009. (Colt issued a recall notice for the safety on this model in June of 2009. Pistols with serial numbers from 1001WWI to 3431WWI should be sent to the factory for parts replacement.)
