Double-action .44 Magnum revolver introduced in 1990. Offered with 4", 6" or 8" barrel lengths. Weight: 4" model 47 oz.; 6" model 63 oz.; 8" model 59 oz. Anaconda holds 6 rounds and available with matte stainless steel finish. For 1993, a new chambering in .45 Colt was offered with 6" or 8" barrel in matte stainless steel finish. Revolver chambered for .44 Remington Magnum cartridge. Constructed of matte-finished stainless steel and black neoprene finger groove grips, with gold Colt medallions. In 1996, Realtree model was offered with 8" barrel. Chambered for .44 Magnum cartridge. Furnished with adjustable rear and ramp front sights or with Redfield 2.5-7x scope. No longer in production. Re-introduced in 2001, in .44 Magnum with 4", 6" or 8" barrel. Once again, discontinued. NOTE: In 1998, Anaconda was drilled and tapped for scope mounts and buyers had the option of barrel porting. Add $1000 for Anaconda First Edition model, with Ultimate Stainless finish, aluminum case. Total of 1,000 made in 1990 only.
