The 1991 Series is a direct descendant of original Model 1911. The long trigger, flat mainspring housing and recoil spring system are like the original design. Upgrades include high profile white dot sights and lowered ejection port. Based on Series 80 MKIV Colt design, it was introduced in 1992. Early models were offered in 9mm. Standard model in .45 ACP, with a 7+1 capacity. A .38 Super version is available. See separate listing.
