Well-made rifle and first of its type Colt manufactured. Chambered for .22 Short and Long. Standard barrel length 24"; finish blued with case colored hammer. Stock walnut; some checkered, some not. Barrel stamped with Colt name, Hartford address and patent dates. There were 89,912 manufactured between 1887 and 1904.
