These SAAs were manufactured to be sold through Colt's London Agency. Barrel stamped "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Ct. U.S.A. Depot 14 Pall Mall London". This model is available in various barrel lengths. They are generally chambered for .45 Colt, .450 Boxer, .450 Eley, .455 Eley and rarely .476 Eley, largest of the SAA chamberings. A good many of these London Models were cased and embellished and should be individually appraised. This model should be authenticated as many spurious examples have been noted.
