Essentially a newer version of 1911A1. Has prefix "70G" from 1970-1976, "G70" from 1976-1980 and "70B" from 1980-1983, when production ceased. Offered in blue or nickel plate. Checkered walnut grips, with Colt medallion. Chambered for .45 ACP, .38 Super, 9mm and 9mm Steyr (foreign export only). NOTE: Add 35 percent for bright nickel finish; 10 percent for satin nickel; 10 percent for .38 Super, 9mm Parabellum or 9mm Steyr.
