This variation has a 6" barrel, chambered for .38 Colt and offered in blued finish only. "U.S.N." stamped on the butt. Most Navy models were altered at the Colt factory to add Model 1895 improvements. NOTE: Original unaltered specimen would be worth as much as 50 percent premium over altered values listed.
