U.S. Ordnance contract Model 1878. Has a 6" barrel and chambered for .45 Colt. Finish blued and there is a lanyard swivel on the butt. Model bears U.S. inspector's marks. Sometimes referred to as Philippine or Alaskan model. Trigger guard is quite a bit larger than standard.
