Model 1894
Production of Model 336 in 44 Magnum was a frustrating experience: The action was too long for a short pistol case. In 1969, Marlin reintroduced Model 1894 chambered for the 44 Magnum cartridge. Barrel 20". The full-length magazine tube holds 10 rounds. Features adjustable rear and ramp-type front sight. Finish blued, with matte receiver top. Walnut stock has straight-grip; forend a barrel band. From 1969 to 1971 there was a brass saddle ring.
