Model 1894

Production of Model 336 in .44 Magnum was a frustrating experience. Action was simply too long for a short pistol case. In 1969, Marlin reintroduced Model 1894 chambered for .44 Magnum cartridge. Barrel 20". Full-length magazine tube holds 10 rounds. Features adjustable rear and ramp-type front sight. Finish blued, with matted receiver top. Walnut stock has straight-grip; fore-end a barrel band. From 1969 to 1971 there was a brass saddle ring.
