Special edition stainless steel version of Model 27. First offered with a 5.5" barrel and 6-shot unfluted cylinder. Originally Manufactured in 1989 as the 627 and 627-0, followed by the 627-1 and 627-2. After that, the 627 continued as an 8-shot Performance Center product. Approximately 4,500 produced at introduction. Values listed are for the Model 627, 627-0 “Model of 1989,” 627-1, and 627-2. The 627-PC, 627-3, and higher are Performance Center models.
