Revolving Carbines
This version has a cylinder that fits over the breech and it must be retracted before it can be manually rotated. Cylinder release is a button located in front of the trigger. It is marked "James Warner/Springfield Mass" and with an eagle over letters "U.S.". Cylinder is etched and there is no loading lever. Has a walnut stock, with patchbox and no forearm. Approximately 25 manufactured in 1849.
