Model 1922 was a redesign of Model 1909, in hopes of military adoption. Grip safety was replaced by a manual safety mounted on the slide; grip angle was changed; lanyard ring added to the butt. Unfortunately for Webley, its only official use was by the Union Defense Force of South Africa (1,000 pistols). South African guns are marked with a large "U" with an arrow in it. NOTE: Add 20 percent premium for South African marked guns.
