Single shot patterned after original Model 1885, designed by John Browning. Over the years, the Hunter has been offered in most modern centerfire rimless calibers from .223, to .45-70 including most belted magnums and WSMs. Stock is checkered walnut. Blued, sightless 28" octagon barrel, with Pachmayr pad. Weight 8.5 lbs. Versions will be encountered with blued or case-hardened receivers. Note: Add $270 for Traditional High Wall Hunter with tang sights, case hardened receiver in .45-70 or .38-55.
